Our specialist prison pharmacy service provides medicines management services, working with the team to ensure the effective prescribing, dispensing and review of medicines.Registered nurses provide reception screening to every prisoner on arrival undertaking a full health needs assessment, with onward referral to the appropriate practitioner where necessary. Prisoners can self-refer during their stay.LPT is bidding to provide healthcare services at HMP Gartree. If successful LPT will provide healthcare services in six Lots:-1 Dental Services2 Primary Care & GP Services3 Optometry4 Physiotherapy5 Sexual Health GUM6 Sexual Health SupportLPT is therefore looking to put in place a framework of suppliers to provide the above services. NHS England will announce the Preferred Supplier for HMP Gartree in December 2016. Therefore, if successful, it is likely that LPT will run a call-off mini-competition in January 2017 from suppliers appointed to the framework.
